Where can you go when your world is shaken and you realize God is doing the shaking? In times of crisis some people may resort to reading the Bible but where can they go when that fails to bring any relief? After you have exhausted all the other options, then where do you go for peace of mind? When "do this-get that" no longer works, what is the alternative? Let me introduce you to GOD - not the god of the Bible or the Koran or any other manmade holy books. But the GOD of the universe - Generator, Operator, Destroyer. Welcome to the virtual Church of Theofatalism™ where everyone is a member, and no one can resign or be expelled. However, this church badly needs a new liturgy and worship focused on developing calm submission to the will of GOD the almighty One - as there can be no other.
"...all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring/consuming fire." (Hebrews 12: 27-29) Can you believe that? Unfortunately, it takes special eys to see God everywhere in everything or the shock would be too great. If you are among the very few who are ready, this could be your pathway to inner peace and serenity no matter what happens outside.
Anthropologist, Margaret Mead (1901-1978) said, “Never forget that a few dedicated people can change the world; indeed that is all that ever has.” So perhaps you are being called to get something started, something really really big. This could be a new reformation for troubled souls - those who wish some things were different or never even happened at all. Perhaps this is a meme, i.e., a contagious idea whose time has come.
Theofatalism is like gravity. It does not need your permission and goes on whether you believe it or not. You cannot live outside its boundaries any more than you can exit the universe. You may ignore this reality but you cannot avoid the results of ignoring this reality. Just as the laws of physics drive the universe, so do the principles of Theofatalism drive all the forms of life on earth. Without these principles, life makes no sense and actually is absurd. .Its symbol is the Chartres Labyrinth that depicts a unique pathway to spiritual contentment for each of us. There are only two rules: begin and continue.
